1000 Libraries is the brainchild of Vincent Phan, a Paris-born literature enthusiast and traveler. Raised amidst the rich cultural tapestry of Paris, Vinny's passion for books, architecture, and history led to the creation of 1000 Libraries. It was created during the 2020 pandemic as a way for book lovers to connect with likeminded people online. 1000 Libraries has since grown from a tiny online community to a world leading platform now employing over 10 people and dedicated to inspire people to visit more bookstores and libraries.

Our book is a curated journey through some of the world's most magnificent libraries and bookstores. It showcases their architectural splendor and delves into their history, the stories they hold, and their significance in the literary world. It's designed to be a coffee table book that book lovers can proudly display in their homes, taking readers on a magical literary world tour.

The first run for the limited first edition of our book sold out in a few weeks. Due to popular demand, we are currently producing 1,500 more copies. They are currently available for pre-order for April delivery. These 1,500 copies will be your last chance to own a first edition copy before we release the trade edition packaged in a more bookstore friendly and minimalist design. 

Yes! We're proud to have distribution centres in 3 continents to be able to reach every country on the planet. However, please note that certain regions are more difficult to reach than others so please allow for delays if you're located further away from metropolitan areas. Please also be advised that we do not ship to PO Boxes.

There are no tax payable by you if you're located in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand. For all other countries, you may have to pay local taxes (5-19% VAT based on your country).

Not what you expected? No worries! We accept returns with full refunds available. All you have to do is send us the package back by requesting a refund via hello@1000libraries.com. We will then provide you with a return address.
