Maestro La Cava, a retired teacher, heartbroken by the lack of books, teachers, and libraries in rural southern Italy, turned his van into the Bibliomotocarro, a roaming library for children. He’s spent years driving from village to village, delivering stories and hope to places where stories are often out of reach.
